The electricity in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan and adjoining 12 districts is supplied by Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. (JVVNL), a company under control of the Government of Rajasthan, also known as Jaipur Discom.
The electricity supply related complaints are handled by a modern 24x7 Call Center. Customers having any problems like, no power, missing phase, voltage fluctuation, transformer burnt etc. can report their issues by contacting this call center.
The call center is supported by Fault Removal Teams (FRT), who are present in the area 24x7 and look after electricity complaints of different areas. The team tries to recitify the problem within a set upper time line, which is 2 hours for Jaipur city.
There are various modes through which customers can pay their Energy Bills. The online mode has multiple channels like Bill Desk, PayTM, credit card, debit card, netbanking etc.
The offline mode requires customer to visit any of the nearest E-Mitra kiosks and pay their bill. E-Mitra is a government service and there kiosks can be found easily in every city and town of Rajasthan.
For other services like applying for a new electricity connection, name change, shifting of connection etc., visit office of the respective Assistant Engineer (or AEN) of the area.
